Every year we don't see video's of Ryan out testing and crap. He does that on purpose and said so last year that he didn't want to show his hand. I would assume the same this year. To think he isn't training, is counting Xmas ornaments, etc...is flat out retarded! His is the current "Fastest man on the planet" Had a year that rivals RC's best and dominated every series he entered.

RV and Stewie will be the cream of the crop as far as speed goes. RV posted the fastest laps at most races last year. I think the title comes down to those guys with RD and CR fighting to round out the podium with Josh Grant rounding out the top 5 for the year.

You guys need to remember that RV does not break under pressure, has the best trainer in MX/SX in his camp and has ALL the momentum and confidence on his side. Everyone else has to catch him.

Had a year that rivals RC's best? Easy killer. Yes the total number of championships earned at the end of the year was the same but RC put the wood to his competitors. He clinched his titles early and RV's went to the wire. Not trying to take anything away from his amazing year but I dont understand the need for people to put him up against the GOAT.Not matter who it is they are gonna fall short

Huh

RC had perfect seasons, and usually wrapped up his titles early.

What did RV dominate besides a moto or a race here and there? He barely squeaked out with either title. By your reasoning JS, RD, CR, and TC dominated also.

I def didnt mean to slight RV or make this RV vs RC. Ryan raced 2 series and took 2 titles but even as impressive as he was, of course it's gonna pale to Ricky's.

RV held the points lead for 14 of 16 races in SX and once he got shit figured out in MX he was clearly the man.

Ok, Ok, he didn't go undefeated out doors like RC did......I give you guys that one. BUT there were more "contenders" this year vs. what RC and JS had to deal with during thier perfect seasons. Class is too stacked to do that now.

Bottom line for me is this....is there ANYBODY that is more comfortable with their current "set-up, motorcycle, environment, etc" than RV is right now. Specifically the motorcycle? I'm cheering for TwoTwo myself, but I think that RV is the most dangerous man in the mix right now. Confidence is REAL high.

So winning A1 last year was a slow start? I don't know how you can get any faster of a start to a season by winning the opening round, just throwing that out there.

RV is the man to beat this year... no major injury, perfect preparation, he performs like no other when the pressure is on too. If someone beats him to both titles they will deserve it.
