Went riding yesterday made some fun jumps. To bad the video didn't turn out good, filmed on a gopro from way to far away, but you can get the idea.

Here's the lip, we spent about an hour or so shaping it with shovels, then slapped a mat on it to keep it together.

Jonon - there are a bunch of decent sand pits in jersey, as long as you have a good spot to park. I went out to this pit last year with him, I'd assume he would have been talking about that pit, one called couches, and whibco(you can ride their right from his house).

Back in the 90s whibco also known as port or 100ft hill was the place to be, they have cracked down big time you really have to watch your back now.

umm.. did you guys just say your riding at whibco? that place has been on my black list for 10 years now, after I got a ticket, a $380 fine, and a warning to never ride there again

if you do a google map search over any of those pits in central/south NJ you can see there is a ton of trails that lead to other pits and whatnot.

the state is so fucking dumb...take one, build a few tracks there and charge 1,000 for a yearly pass...PLENTY of people would sign up.

jersey is the 3rd richest state in the country next to NY & CT as far as income goes.

I knew just as many "blue collar" folks that were caking as much if not more than the white collar peeps (lawyers, doctors, executives, etc)

Problem with that in this state is the greenies. We have the pinelands commission that will stop whatever they feel like. There have been multiple attempts to open riding areas shut down by the eco nuts. Last I heard they were looking to open a place at the old Mt Pleasant MX track in woodbine, which is about 1/10th the size of some of the abandoned sand pits around here..
