Great helmets. Like? Lots of air runs through them.

Dislikes? Haven't found one yet. Maybe they get dirty?

Awesome helmets. The best I have ever used, will never wear any other helmet!

They are a bit awkward fitting for me. They feel top heavy like the Thor helmets. I have been using the Shoei VFX-R helmets since about 2001. Best helmet out there IMO of course.

I tried the Shoei and the Arai at the dealer and ended up going with the Arai. I really liked how it felt.

I love mine, it fits great.

The only problem I've seen is the little air vent outlet thingies on the top back are kinda flimsy, mine cracked and broken pretty easily, but I'm not the kind that really cares.

It did not fit my melon well. I use a Shoei VFX-DT . It is the most comfortable for me. I wanted to get the Moto 8 because I found a great deal on them. I always used Bell as a kid.

ditto what fcr said. I found a killer deal on ebay I couldn't pass up. Lighter than my Shoei, and fits much nicer. The bag and extra visor are a nice touch too..

Only complaint is I couldn't use my nose guard on my crowbars.

My Shoei's come with a bag as well. They always do.

Instant laugh on that one. I think the Moto 8 is a good helmet. I feel any helmet has to fit your head comfortably ie., no pressure points with the tightest fit you can get away with. I had a TLD that had one small area that always bothered me awhile back. I got rid of it because of that.

I just got one for my son and I. They are definately mass produced and you can get great deals on older models any day of the week (e-bay and other e-tailers). I got 2 helmets (06 models), Holeshot in Grey/White for $215 delivered total (yes, thats for both helmets!).

Getting used to the wind noise was the only thing that took getting used to for me. But they are definately well vented and here in Texas, thats a plus!

Some have issues with the fit, like a Fox V-3, mostly with it foilding down the top of your ears. But I put it on, wiggle it around a bit and it fits great. I am very happy with mine after the first 3 rides with it. The extra visor and cheek pad sets are great as well.

Buy with confidence. Watch E-bay for a while and you can get one for around $100, or even less.

I have one,love it.

If you get one,get the size bigger helmet then you have now. They run a little on the small size,I had to get a XL size.

Do the Bell's fit round melons, or are they more comfortable for thinner skulls?

Try one on. They have 3 shell sizes compared to some brands that only have 2. The liners and pads are also in various sizes, so there are more options to give you the best fit.

ya.. I love my V3. I have the Bubba edition. the one with the Encore look. Its the best helmet that I've ever tried on and I wont buy any other brand of helmet from now on.

Yea i know a few people who run bell helmets I think they are pretty good. I think ive actually heard that if the helmet broke it did its job. I think under high impact its supposed to crack and what not to absorb impact. Id recommend getting a new helmet after everytime you take a good hit to the head. You cant put a price on your head, but yea I think you'll like the bell
