Not a big fan of the helmet colors , but I actually kind of like the red/white gear! It will look better than a lot of the guys I see at the track. Seen a guy up at Mtn View MX this past summer , riding a clapped out mid-80's RM 125 , wearing overalls and a 80's open faced bell.......he was having a blast anyways!! And that's what it all boils down to.........just having fun!

I usually ride in this........that way I don't have to go home and shower after the track. I can go straight to the clubs........

I think a couple red/white type helmets like these would match pretty well with that gear.



But I think one of the K-dub Shoei helmets would look even better. there are 3 different color schemes for that helmet as well.

Seems a lot of companies that make gear and helmets are making the two mutually exclusive, creating a scenario where you have to buy only the matching gear to make it look right (661 is an exception) but once one or the other needs to be replaced, nothing looks right. Kind of makes people buy the helmet or gear to match.....had somewhat of this problem last year and finally picked up some gear to match the helmet. I'm assuming you are getting the helmet on a screaming closeout deal? I love this time of year because I get new last years gear for less than $80 Smile got a brand new set of one ind gear on the way, top shelf stuff that is "so 2011" saved me a TON of cash. I'm doing it every year from here on out

OH!!! so the other day I was browsing Craigslist and found a guy with a BRAND NEW pair of the latest generation black tech 6's in my size for $110 called him and got them for $80! They were never worn and still had the tags on them. He said his wife bought them for him bec she thought they were streetbike boots .... I snatched them up right quick, I love Craigslist. Soon I will have a garage full of bikes for less than 1500 each ...... All kinds of suckers on there
