Every notice how every time there is a big race that they aren't racing, they start tweeting a LOT but it is always about something unrelated to mx/sx? It's like they're jealous that we (doofus fans) are "cheating" on them and they wanna make sure we remember they are still our number one.
"Watching the national knitting championships and up next, poker championships on the sports network".
"Did you see that scarf she just knitted????"
"OMG he has two Jacks!!!!"
etc., etc., etc.

My point is that they both seem to be clamoring for the limelight but don't wanna seem desperate so they start tweeting about non-mx stuff like crazy. It's mildly amusing to me.
I can't wait to see JS remind everyone who he is come January.
..but who are they trying to convince?

I'm assuming your point is Stewart had more titles than RV had by the time RV turned 23. Unfortunately, you didn't do the research on this as RV just turned 23 in August, at which point he had 3 Lites MX titles and 1 450 SX title, for 4 major titles.
Stewart won his last SX title in 2009 AFTER turning 23 (happened December 2008), so he also had 4 major titles before turning 23. Both won their 5th major title AFTER turning 23.
By comparison though, RV won his 5th title at an earlier age than James did (23 years 1 month vs. 23 years 6 months).
