Personally I think the incident on lap one was more of a racing incident created by the arenacross style track they have in Bercy than a deliberate takeout but Aranda did come across Barcia's line and knock him down. I give Barcia credit for going back after him and handling it like they did when racing took balls instead of daddy's money. Too many riders and individuals in this world have gone pussy and just complain and whine on twitter and facebook rather than actually doing something about it. This is exactly how racing used to be. Riders handled their differences on the track. I'd say Aranda won't make that same mistake again when dealing with Barcia. I am all for riders and racers in general standing up for themselves. He didn't do anything to hurt Aranda and did just enough to ruin his race without going dirty on him. Wrong would have been driving into the side of him and sending him over the bails with the intent to injure him. Barcia is the modern day Hannah and I like the kid more and more for reasons such as this.

I do not know what type of world you live in, or how much of the world you have travelled beyond your own borders, but anybody who can afford a new motocross bike has "money".

Barcia should absolutely be pissed but that was way unacceptably IMO. The FIM should penalize him heavily. A penalty that effects his 2012 SX season.

So much for the Barcia Aranda feud........... Barcia passes and leaves Aranda and Aranda goes backwards in the second heat. I don't get Aranda. The guy can lay down great qualy times in MX1 and SX but does not race well.

Thats a shitty comparison. I'm pretty sure Musquin didn't think Barcia laid it down and hit him in the face with his wheel on purpose. I could see where Bacia, through vision of goggles thought Aranda came across and cut him off and punted him. Barcia wasn't in a position to see Aranda Slide out and fish around. He just seen the bike come across and who it was for the second time. In that sense I'd say Barcia was pretty ballsy to pull off and ruin the race of the guy that ruined his. Especially of a home crowd fan favorite. Not sayiing it is right, but it was ballsy. I think it is funny that you guys are calling Barcia out for not hanging around and swinging fists. Its racing not boxing. Barcia wanted to screw up Aranda's race and that is what he did. I don't think his intentions were to fight him. Get real. It was also pretty evident that after reviewing the tape that Barcia seen it was not on purpose. How many of you would have stood up and said I was wrong and appologized?

MY QUOTES DIDN'T SHOW UP, I'LL TRY AND CORRECT

to all you yanks calling aranda an 'out of control, euro squid'

what was your opinion on the incident between musquin and barcia in the outdoors last year? (when barcia got it wrong and his back wheel took marvin out, ending his season) .........

barcia is a pussy- to do what he did is very unsportsmanlike, then to run away after the incident like a little bitch- shows what a pathetic little child he is.

yeah I was holding my tongue until i saw a video of it... that was pretty pathetic.. made it worse when he rode off scared when Aranda was all 'you, me, carpark, now' if you can't finish the fight don't start it or if you want to instigate a fight don't run away if the other dude squares up
besides how could you think that was on purpose? yeah the dude got squirrely and could've backed off and they had a bit of history and was frustrated but that's racing.. you know what's not racing waiting for a lap and taking someone high then pulling off

and then he twittered that he went 'bambam' nah dude that's not goin bambam
i agree 100%

Holy shit.

1. Race incident for me. If Aranda has done other stuff, whatever. History means shit.
2. Major Brain Brain fart from Barcia.
3. Barcia needs to walk the talk with that attitude. He ruined Arandas race on purpose, something we can newer know Aranda did.

A restart would have been good with Barcia DQ.

Karma is a bitch though. What comes around, goes around.

balls = picking your bike up, racing, catching the guy THEN parking him.

NOT

waiting for a lap, cutting the track and wrecking his race then running away like a puss...

with that said this whole "balls" thing reminds me of the quote i read the other day.

Why do people say "grow some balls"? Balls are weak and sensitive. If you wanna be tough, grow a vagina. Those things can take a pounding...

A penalty that would affect his 2012 SX season? I think your decision making is just as bad as Barcia's

Fasteddy has better evidience than me I guess. Either way neither incident was a take out, just totally random racing incidents.

I heard Barcia was gonna go all Tyler Evans on him but his finger slipped off the clutch and he whiskey throttled outta there on accident. He didn't mean to run away, ok?

any of them...because you can't do this sport without spending tens and tens of thousands of dollars every year. People without money can't compete at the highest amateur level...they can barely compete at a local weekly series. To think otherwise is ridiculous.

when did Bacia start wearing a neck brace?

He should race the opening rounds of arenacross and try that behavior there...

Friday night #20 Aranda & Barcia (in the flo green below) hit pretty good just right before that corner....in the main.
Barcia lost some spokes and was out.
Not sure who's bike took his spokes out,it's possible after they bumped Barcia went into someone else due to them bumping.
Would like to see it from another angle.

Here is video of them hitting.

1. Aranda was out of control in that corner, but that does happen and Barcia payed the price. If someone else had been where he was, they would have payed the price of Aranda's lack of control.

2. Shit happens in racing, and Barcia has raced long enough to know this, so he should have gotten back up, manned up, and raced.

3. Confrontations after incidents like this NEVER end well.

4. The Barcia haters in this thread stand out like neon signs, ESPECIALLY when they make multiple hate/insult posts.

Barcia can ride, but.......

since his amateur days he has been such a little baby. This proves he hasn't grown up one bit. He will turn into "Ryno the Roido" if he doesn't control his emotions like an adult.

Yeah what would mom241 know about amateur racing or what it takes to succeed at the highest level.

Smile .

BD49, you don't know much.

Just as Mom241 points out, NAME 5. Don't say any of them.

You can do this sport without spending tens of thousands of dollars every year and compete at the amateur level. I've seen it done. You don't need the big rig and 5 bikes to make it to the pros.

The key words here are "both days Aranda takes out riders". Thinking. Try it.

I know they are key words. I put them there to give the sentence an ironic sense.

Just sixty-five million years ago our ancestors were the most unprepossessing of mammals -- creatures with the size and intelligence of moles, tree shrews or the French. It would have taken a very audacious biologist to guess that such such animals would eventually produce a line of American motocross riders that dominates the Earth today.
