I heard it went Fiolek, Patterson, then Whitmore.

Good job, Ashley!

Would the winners lap times be good enough for the MX2 class?

Quick note.
It was a great race.
JP was second the whole moto and never more than 1.5 seconds behind.
JP made a charge at the finish and came up a few feet short. They both were hauling pretty good.
If this is an indication of what the WMA season is going to be like.. whew its gonna be a good one.

Had to bump start Patterson's bike on the starting line. She made time on Fiolek, just after the finish area. Ashley struggled in the whoops...the win was only, half a bike length.

I don't know why, but it sounds as if you are trying to diminish Ashley's accomplishment.

I am stoked for Ashley, and for the WMA. Sounds like the girls want to fight for the championship.

Something I just thought of.

Since they have moved the Womens race out of the "main program" maybe they can put transponders on their bikes so we can at least see some of whats going on????

I agree, it'd be cool to see their lap times on the tracks they race at.

It's not an inaccurate description. Jessica seemed to make time in those two sections. Either way, it was a really good race.

Good for Ashley. But, I've always wanted to see Whitmore win a championship. She never had one yet, right?

Sorry I knew I might of been taking it wrong, thats why I didn't post anything last night. When I woke up today it was still buggin me. =)

I know Mike is a HUGE supporter of Womens Racing, I took it out of context. I am sorry.

I can't say for sure, but at Hangtown, there were several jumps that the girls weren't trying, while every guy was clearing them. I'd be really surprised if the women would qualify for the MX2 class.

I run comapable lap times as the fastest girls at Lakewood. There is no fucking way I could make the field in a national.
