I wish the broadcast would have let us listen in. Who was running it? How did it turn out for the? Are we getting closer to having it in SX and MX? I'm really surprised no one has touch on this. Maybe PulpMx show will tonight!

I think it's a great question actually. I'm wondering if our sport will ever implement it......I hope they do.

I don't think its a big advantage other than saying there's a rider behind you, so cover the inside corner....Or to tell the mechanic of a problem.

Your response was retarded. I think it's great for creating revenue. Also bringing fans closer to their favorite riders/teams. I think it's stuff like this that will push us closer to more exposure. Listen to NASCAR over 50% of their telecast is listening into teams radio communication!

there has been several meetings w/mx sports regarding this topic and safety is among the first items mentioned. Just a matter of time I believe.

I think it would not be a good idea at all. In NASCAR, they need to talk about pit strategy, how worn the tires are, how long the fuel will last, what opponents pitted, etc. In motocross and supercross, none of that is relevant. Noise in your ears in a car is not only normal but needed. Noise in your ear on a supercross or motocross track is not only not needed, but would also hinder the rider. For instance, I crank up my radio in my car, but when I'm riding, no way in hell will you see me with an Ipod in my ears.

25 minutes into moto 2 at Freestone do you really believe that any of the racers would want someone talking in their ear? Besides that do you think that the racers would be able to talk clearly going over braking bumps while out of breath?

I imagine some of the back markers / weekend warriors mechanics would have some fun with it... "Why`de ya take that line ya hack, have a go or lets pack er up and hit the bar!" : )

Same question kinda reversed though, if your winning would you like someone to be able to notify lappers that your coming through. It could get rid of pit boards.

How about during a national you actually see teams fix shit instead of riders just pulling off? I don't think the mechanics area is utilized to its potential.

You will have some riders who use it more than others. I see it being more used during practice . Although say a rider is 15 minutes into a moto and the rear end is all over the place. Based on what the rider is communicating to the mechanic they could make compression and rebound changes during a moto efficiently!

I don't know maybe I'm a little out there. I just see lots of benefits from it and it also helps progress our sport. Everything is more interaction. I would love to hear the true hunger inside some of these guys. Also I would like to know who are the pussies out there. Constantly complaining about something..

On the safety side of things. Asterix would be able to listen. Everyone would be in constant communication. Obviously there would have to be some guidelines and stuff.

I think it would be a very useful tool. I was at the MEC and was looking in the pits and didn't see anyone using it. Being able to communicate more than what's on a pit board would be invaluable in some situations. If all the riders had it and a rider was down on the track in a blind position a safety person could warn them I've heard that DC is considering allowing it in the nationals.
