I miss his Kawi days when he had contracts, raced a lot and I was even fortunate enough to catch some in person. I miss seeing him out there...
not really . and to be honest the racing was so good w/o him this year it really didnt matter.

The thing is, that in the past i hated Chad Reed for his personality, but now i respect Chad for the heart, passion and balls to make his team a real team that go and raced a SX and MX series complete out of nothing and James Stewart with all the money this guy makes plus Sponsors that stick with him and he can even prepare a bike to race the MEC!? Look at the Alessi's(Tony and Mike)!! thats heart, passion and dedication for this sport. Chad Reed and the Alessi's they do it for the fans!

This is from his twitter about 30 minutes ago...

"The decision was made last night to not race Vegas. It sucks but to be honest I don't have a team for next year yet. A1 will be my 1st race"

Now he doesn't have a team???...I thought he was doing this "in the best interest of his team, etc..." ...

Pathetic. All he has done is Supercross for the last three years and here is a Supercross race that is supposed to be his thing and he won't be racing. I don't want to hear from the James lovers how we don't know the details of his contract. He has not raced since May. James not being prepared for this race is inexcusable.

Compare him to someone like Mike Alessi who will do whatever it takes to race even if it is out of his own pocket.

I also agree with him being scared to race RV.

Its america.... bubba can do whatever he wants. Geeze people are greedy bout shit now a days. If I was James I would be taking my time with what I ride too. He jus spent 2 years on a bike he probably hated 80% of the time. I'm sure dude has no nerve for a bike that doesn't fit like a glove. As far as the money, Ide be milkin that shit for what its worth too.

It's nearly mid-October and James is still without a team. I wonder what effect that will have on his preparation for A1? Prior years he's had everything sewn up early, and with the SX only deal has theoretically had about 8 months to prepare.

From js7 twitter

"I'll tell you which bikes im choosing from now but I need you guys to blow my twitter up saying these 3 words... Which colors James?"

Okay I get that the attention is good for his brand and all but this is just dumb...

How about you just let us know when you get the deal done James?

As if his news is relevant?? Has anyone seen the latest crop of riders in the past year or two. They're good enough to hold my interest. No hating, but I could care less if he decided to retire. Life goes on and so does Motocross.

It depends on the day. Some days it might be in the trailer. On others (like today), it could be split between a Starbucks or the Vital MX offices in Irvine. On others it could be at my girlfriend's house. It varies.

Your mom. Dummy lol. It hurts his fastest man on the planet image when he gets beat. Yes, I think it intimidates him that there are others that can beat him now. He's not used to that.

The only thing official about James Stewart is that he is a "has been"!

I have lost any respect I ever had for him.

I say split his earnings amongst up and coming riders that actually want to ride!

The fact that people are getting mad about him looking to new endeavors instead of racing the cup just validates that people still look most forward to watching him race.

The only thing I look forward to from him is when he decides to actually do what he says he is going to. ie. race the cup. I don't get why he can't do so on his own bike, go buy one and race it, if it really is about "the fans" as he so well put it on his last tweet. and dont give me the "red bull wont let him" crap, mikes a red bull rider and he's going on his own dealer bought bike, so why not james.....?

Red heads are bubbas kryptonite. Actually, that would be anyone to keep pressure on him for a few laps.
