Here's the real scoop on Hangtown

First off James is just fucking amazing. Totally in control and totally dominating. Alessi looked pretty good at Hangtown but had some issues in the first moto and that jacked him up for the OA i the top 4 or 5. The 2nd moto he rode well and kept pressing til the end, bout all you can ask for. Mike will need to step it up and put himself in 2nd behind James. Biked looked choppy after about midway through the moto, suspenders may have been setup wrong for the hangtown track. Tedesco looked awesome and he should be up there all year with a little good luck. Tim Ferry is as animal, got stronger as the race went on, got faster and was the only one moving forward in the top ten it seemed. If it was 45's he might have gained on James even. Hamblin hauls ass, easy top five speed and was doing some sections better than anybody other than James. Millsaps looked great...for a while then faded, not sure why. Jeff Alessi is getting better and faster every week, keep it up Jeff. Cooper is a damn good rider and will get better as the season goes on. BT is not 100%, when and if he gets there he will be up there even better. Short was off and never looked right, not sure why. Boniface surprised me and everybody else, good luck to him for the rest of the series. Hill is way off the pace, most inconsistent guy out there. Hamblin could beat him and should be on that scooter maybe. The fact is James is waaaaay way faster than the rest. If nothing strange happens, and it always does he might go 24-0 but regardless he should win the title...if nothing strange happens. It's not that the other contenders aren't fantastic riders and aren't very serious when it comes to MX. It's just that James is THAT MUCH FASTER than all the rest. looks solid all the way and the Kawy just barks big time. The 250 race was a snoozer too. RV was just flat ass hauling freekin buns. So aggressive and so determined. The others weren't too far off the pace but he still dominated. Dungey looks solid but will need to bag bars with RV if he wants the title. RV's wrist is still not 100% but hell he might not need it to be, needs to stay on 2 wheels and not re-injure it. Jlaw is all over the place, not sure why. he has the speed but he needs to get more aggressive if he gets a bad start. Stroupe is the real deal and so is Metcalf. They should be there all the way to the end. Canard shot his wad in SX it appears. Looks content to stay back a ways. The other names just aren't quite cutting it. Izzi looked fast but faded a little. He's getting better each week so we will see if he can top5 soon. The track was actually better for the smaller bikes and here's where a 350 might have shined I believe. Lap times are more indicative of the track than the riders such as RV kicking ass on the 450 times. The 450's are a little too much and the 250's are almost taxed on certain parts of the track. A scooter in between might be the ticket...or a punched out 250 could do it. Lotsa babes out in full force at Hangtown. Norcal was better than socal this week I guess.
