I can't find it, what did it say?

I hope they do, i'm tired of the monopoly that PC has had on the teams. I was loving the Cosworth yamaha stuff, we need more of that.

PC builds awesome bikes , it boggles my mind how another Team would use their parts and try to compete with them.

I wouldn't do it.

i think it would be cool if FC went with eleven10 mods motors instead.

but change motor modifier all you want, and it aint gonna put a team on PC's level. PC's advantage is in their electronics.

look at the holeshots the cosworth yamahas were pulling from rounds 6-12. speaking strictly of engine building, PC is not a pimple on cosworth's ass.

I think a close study would see a direct correlation between Moto XXX Alan Brown and Now Alan is with the Star DNA Shred stix Yamahas

Tell me exactly how many moto's has the Cosworth won? Now compare that one Moto win to Mitch's Team, I thimk those Dust Storms in Arizona has affected your vision and memory.

i think the water in IL has affected your reading comprehension level. PC does not have the capability to build an engine like cosworth does. however, an engine doesnt win a race, a rider on a bike does. PC has 3 of the best in the business.

what do you know about cosworth and their motorsports history? it is so much more diversified than PC its not even funny. im not dogging PC, and they put together a total package better than anyone. but cosworth is the dreme de la creme of engine building.

I think the start is a better indication of whose bike is faster than the finish is. The rider matters at least a little bit.

thats what i was getting at. especially when a lower caliber rider is pulling away from 115lb blake bagget on uphill starts. thats a pretty good indication as to who is making the horsepower.

The bike he rode in the final round wasn't that bike, it was #91 on the front plate. That's where I got confused.

They have worked magic with a 9 year old engine. Enough said.

Factory Connection does a majority of their own motor work, but they have also worked with PC on some components. If they found a better supplier that isn't one of their main competitors, then it makes sence for them to switch. They relied on PC the most when new bikes came out and they didn't have time to really develop the engine in-house, but they have a handle on everything now.

And there is definitely nothing lacking on the FCR bikes, they have no problem hanging with PC, but their riders just had a rough year.

I've heard rumblings about GEICO Honda switching to Yosh this year.

There is one little problem with the above statement. Cosworth doesn't actually build the Star Racing engines. The guy that does is a legend in motor building located in N. California and built many mx engines in the mid to 70's to 80's. His focus is on other markets. But he still does work for some of the factories from time to time.

You may have heard of Mike McAndrews who worked as Jeff Wards mechanic (and started Factory Connection) and Paul Turner (Mike's buddy) from Aptos, Ca. They both know who this guy is. They learned a lot from him.... )
