The "A" team

Only won one moto.

There's no denying they were by far the best team.

But, speedwise, they didn't blow anyone away.

RV's win saw 12 guys within 30 seconds at the race.

I say speedwise, the world is pretty even, bearing in mind that Americans probably shine a little more on home soil.

Also, crossing the pond is pretty exhausting, I think it might play a (small) factor in this equation.

dungey had the fastest lap time in the 1st race, RV had the fastest lap time in the 2nd race and 3rd race. All 3 or our guys won their qualifying races, RV and RD won their classes and we are the 2011 MXoN champions. I would say it was a pretty good weekend.

RV's win also had him wait 16 seconds for second to catch up to him.

when it's a race....30 seconds is a long time. a second or 2 is close......

But whatever makes you feel better...

All in all there were 9 individual results to be claimed over the weekend and one team result. (3 race winners Sat, 3 Sun, 3 overall Sun, team overall sun)

USA won = 6 Rest of World = 3

Team overall USA 1 / Rest of World 0

An American won 70% of the races even though they were only 2% of the riders who showed up for the event.

I don't see why some people can't understand the results. They are pretty clear.
