Dizzy

Anyway...Looks like an awesome training facility. Pretty sure Jimmy can be a great help to a lot of riders (young and old)!

I would love to go here or MTF. I just found out my neighbor tommy maxey is going to MTF training facility for a year and its only going to cost him $18,000.Shocked I wish my parents were as devoted as his are.

john dowd's parents would not even allow him to have a bike, let alone take him to the races, so he didnt even touch a bike til he was about 16 and could drive himself to the track. about 10 years later he impressed factory yamaha so much at Daytona they handed him Mike Craig's YZ.

it CAN be done.

That's retarded.

And to the other comment, most kids that go to MTF barely improve.

The Jammer and his crew came out and raced Labor Day weekend with us at Winchester Speedpark had a couple riders including a certain James Weinert, who I think was his grandson.
They also put a couple of the local fast guys on their bikes throughout the weekend.

Team looked good and the bikes certainly looked dialed in.

The kid is already extremely fast on 85s so i cant imagine how much faster he can get. All i can say is look for big things out of him at lorettas next year. He went this year but crashed himself out of contention.

I'm pretty sure Justin is their claim to fame and he would have ended up right where he is with or without MTF. The kid had raw skill from the start.

You have to have the tools to get to the top level. I was just thinking the other day about hitting Weinert's place for a couple days soon.

Where did Reynard, KW, RC and Stewart go?

I think these places are fine but I think that you either have it or you dont, and $18k a year isnt going to make you have it. Shit Tim Ferry had clapped out bikes at the LL's growing up with torn seat covers even until he got some help finally.

Club Mx is a sick track. Went couple weeks ago with a buddy of mine. I didn't get to ride because my bike was messed up. I did however get to watch Les Smith and Justin Brayton .
