Riding Michelins and wanted to know what you guys think would be a better tire selection for Muddy Creek in TN. MS3 or MH3?
Kevin Walker; if you read this please send me some inside info. I know this is you home track and you ride Michelins.

On a prepped track the MS is better but once it drys out the MH hooks up!
I know they don't last but I would have me some new 756's on- hard to beat the performance of those rascals in the short term.
I put a 756 on the front of my 450 and love it.
Bye the way, Futrell swears by the Pirelli Scorpion Mid-soft front and rear for most tracks but sand
What about gearing? I have never been to Muddy Creek before, but from the pics I have seen it looks pretty fast and wide open?
I have an 06 CRF250 and am currently running 1 tooth larger on the rear. I plan on replacing my chain and sprockets before I head up there. Would I be better off going back to stock gearing for this track?
I would keep the gearing you are running now on the 250 F as you are more familiar with the spread.

will do.
I was planning on leaving that Thursday afternoon so I can run Friday practice. I have never been to that track before and there is no way I could learn it in 3 laps on Saturday morning.
I already have a hotel room booked near the track, using points so it doesn't cost me anything. I'll get with Tim later and see if he wants to carpool or not.
