I'm bummed I didn't make it to press day to watch him rip it up on the 125! His intro was pretty cool on race day though he rolled out in an Ike Taylor jersey (defender energy is sponsoring them the last two rounds) which was cool to see even though I'm not a Steelers fan at all lol

I look just like that 90% of the time I'm riding (albeit much slower). Not impressed.

I feel the same way about freestyle. I have hucked so many cool looking and spontaneous variables that I can't name them all. If only I had intended to do them, I might have landed on the bike more often but a mid-flight snapshot would have looked really cool most of time. For instance, last week the old thumper decided to cut out on the take-off and I ended up riding the front tire for at least 40 feet across the table-top and through the downside like I was born to do it.

Truly captures his style and determination- been like that since his mini days. However wildbill, you should be careful posting positive things like this about DD, or jmar may attack your intelligence and accuse Darryn of " whoring himself out and looking for some much needed attention !" Wink

Yeah, learning to market yourself like DD does should be used by more riders if they want rides.

Watching him for so many years and being around D5, I can attest that this kid just loves to ride and have huge amounts of fun doing it. Just by watching his go-pro vids you can tell he's having a blast. Great fun-loving attitude. Probably the least likely of any of the 40 guys on the gate that is looking for attention. He's just a low key dude. Strange attribute for a young budding superstar, but thats his personality.

Him and James Marshal rode my track backwards one day, it was ridiculous!

I saw that and assumed it was right before he crashed. Because, well, you know...If I were in that position EVER on a dirt bike, I would be crashing. It would be interesting to look at motocross from the perspective of a pro rider, just for a minute. The must look at the track and see something entirely different than I do. Would be interesting to see.

I actually made that pic the profile pic, or avatar if you call it that, as soon as I saw it. Great shot.
