Everts raced 125 SX one year. Didn't work out too well for him.

Wow that has got to light a fire in you when u see that on the pit board. At least that is how I would feel.

IMO I think baggett's rides as of late can be attributed to training or a nagging injury he's riding with. I know he hurt his shoulder not too long ago and he supposedly is healed but who knows.....Unsure

And this is why guys like these would struggle in the tougher GP series,B-I-N-G-O there are plenty of tracks like that in Europe,add a few more mud races,and "Natural" tracks ( remember them? ) and at a different county each race and you realise hoe hard it is,oh and if Southwick was a GP race you can stick another 2 or 3 laps on the end of those Motos

Well done to Swanny too,he's having a great season,could it be his best yet? I can't remember Gareth doing so well at GPs?

he didnt do so well recently- but in mx2 in 2007 he finished 5th in the championship, with a 2nd overall (and moto finish) at lierop gp.

Glad to see gareth doing well again, he's had some bad luck in recent years Smile

yes its only the UK that enforces the smoking ban, most european countries are much more relaxed with that particular law Wink

i am looking forward to seeing christophe pourcel (hopefully) at the des nations- he will be a force to be reckoned with on the 450 when he is back to 100%

Also, interested to see tommy searle on the 450! he had a good debut on it at hawkstone- saw him practicing at our local track on it last wednesday and he looked very smooth

No he didn't. He raced 250 without that much of SX experience prior, did pretty good (almost podiumed in the premier class) and went back. I'd say he didn't do so bad considering the lack of practice he had. But that's just my opinion. Listen to Matthes podcast with him, he explains it all.

And B-I-N-G-O again,that's the flaw of the MXdN,for example South Africa dont have that 3rd rider,like most other countries,America has the numbers,they could win by filling in with a bunch of 3rd,4th and 5th places

Just give it another year, Wilson will be claiming American citizenship and will have changed his accent once again, perhaps heavy with "Dude", "Gnarly" and maybe "Bro", full fledged Southern Californian by then. Just be patient.

with all the sand, saw dust, and all the preperation they do on the dirt of the tracks, they get to have almost the same conditions of ridding in all of them, even the big amature races do the same....
