Now THAT"S how you do a post race interview. He looked right into the camera as if he was talking to all the kids out there and said . . ."That's just hard work, dedication ,motivation, stay at it and it happens". With a fist pump at the end. Awesome!

Its nice to see a rider not read off the pit board. Metty was not a robot up there.

I was pumped for Metcalfe. Nice guy, great rider, and honest speaker.

I thought Wilsons speech on the 250 show was decent, not the usual PC blabber.

I dont see why people get so wet and wild over a podium interview. I watch the racing because these guys are the best at what they do on their motorcycles. They aren't intellects or prophets, they are athletes. I never actively listen to any post race interview thats not why im tuned in.

same reason I visit the forum, is to read through all the bullshit, from the bull shitters.

I agree. I dont listen to interviews to get a laugh. It is nice to hear something original, but if NOT, then fuck it.

I became a fan of Metcalfe the year he ran the YZ125 at Anaheim and it poured rain. For some reason I remember him just laboring in that mudfest, the bike was just screaming. I just though it was cool to hear and I don't remember how he did, but I was impressed. RC crashed in front of us on a jump face and couldn't lift his bike up it was so muddy, he was slipping. One of the 125 class bikes got stuck in the turn at homeplate area, it didn't want to come out of the muck. Good for him to win, he has worked his ass off.
