I wonder how they compare to the 2012 KXF? I haven't really heard much about that bike.

you know, having a factory race team is both a blessing and a curse. When your bikes win, everyone says their the best, when you have problems then everyone says your bikes are junk. Every race bike out there breaks at some point, but I do agree that when both of a teams bikes break in the same race it does amplify it a ton. The red riders will be back.

This generation of Honda is very delicate, it is designed to be right at the limit for an MTBF of 40 minutes. The engine, wheels, rear shock and front forks, front and rear calipers and rotors are replaced after each moto. Sometimes the mean is greater than the race length, sometimes shorter. They visually do look very nice.

Thank god both riders were uninjured. Having a bike break can be very, very bad if it happens at the wrong time.

This was just another FU to CR22 from Honda...DUH. They did this on purpose. Grab the tin foil quick!
