All these other guys don't dig freestyle like you and me, Mulisha. Here's what's up.

1. Make sure you are riding a two stroke. They are way better for freestyle.
2. When approaching the ramp, you need to be WIDE open. Don't try to finess anything. If you think you are going to overjump the landing, you're not. Just pin it.
3. Protective gear gets in the way of FMX badly. No sleeves, work boots are ok to begin with. You usually don't get hurt until you are more advanced.
4. Backflips are becoming really routine. I'd start with trying a double and skip over the boring stuff.
5. When you're pretty good, come back on and tell those of us that care how you did. There may be some sponsor money available if you need it.
