With all of the injuries to Honda riders I am surprised people are not blaming the bike? It was funny how everyone blamed Yamaha. James won almost every heat race but its "the bike" At least Barcia didnt crash his brains out this weekend.

The question would be, "Is honda as bad as stewie's yamaha?" because everybody else's yamaha works fine. . . And the answer to that question would be, "no". There is not a bike on the planet set up as bad as stewie's yammer hammer

Actually Barcia did crash his brains out in practice by doing nearly the exact same thing that Canard did.

Honda is done for the year. No way is Windham coming back. No riders left for the 450 class and they don't have a 250 program. They don't need to be at the races to support Reed. Unless they fold Reed into the factory effort/rig and leave team 22 at home and that ain't happening.

Your kinda right. I'm a die hard honda guy. But in the 250f class the hondas are not even close to as good as the mitch payton bikes. Barsha is crashing his brains out trying to run with them. Canard is always riding over his head but not the bikes fault. I was watching reed at millville and he was just going way to fast. I have hit that jump a thousand times and those kickers are always there.he just had so much speed that there was no way to save it. So yes the 250fs can't run at the speed kaws can but no the 450s r fine. That's my take

Very insightful.

The reverse cylinder head doesn't seem to be the big leap forward. No yamies in the top five. Wouldn't have anything in sx except for js.

No. The yamaha is a POS. The fact that Stewart had crashed his brains on EVERY bike he has ever ridden is meaningless. It HAS to be the POS Yamaha.

I believe youre mistaken, sir. Ashley Fiolek rides a 250, therefore Honda has a 250 program. I'm not saying that they will put another guy on a 250, but its always a possibility.

This is a current pro riders feeling about the YZ450F. He's no JS, but still a current pro rider, and not the first to say it. I'd say, if you like it, you like it. But if you can't jive with it, then you have problems. That is why we see some do well and some hate it. "The 2011 YZ 450 is by far the worst bike I have ever ridden!" Where as many riders can feel comfortable on a certain bike in a certain year. The current Yamaha has some lovers and some haters.

Or a bunch of Pri-Madonnas that can't, won't or jus' haven't tried to "Set-Up" a bike.

Funny. Wasn't the Kawasaki a P.O.S. when JS left them?

What about the KTM? Seems to me that Mike had some furious laps last weekend!

FACT:

Every "Bad" Brand was REPRESENTED by 2 or 3 places in the Top 10.

As to Honda? What did Chad pick when he had to go racing on his own dime?

Right now a rider has 5 solid brands to pick from.

All DAMN GOOD.

The Yamaha, and the KTM for that matter, might be jus' a lil' more challenging to set-up.

Nothing to do with this post really, but every brand of bike has had it's bad years, factory bikes included. Not to admit it is just being biased or in denial.

Exactly, and two we all know he rode and chose against. Kawi and Yam. Just sayin. Said many good things about Suzuki, but I think the previous disposal of him gave him a bad taste. So Top 2 choices, riding all of them, including a KTM 350SXF is Honda and Suzuki. Honda got the nod.
