We have a Vintage race this weekend in Kirksville Mo. Gonna be 100+. Old guys on old bikes racing in 115 heat index conditions. What could go wrong?

No shat BM...where have YOU been Wink

Seriously though...it's been BRUTAL to say the least out here for a good 10 days. I raced in it last weekend and I was so worked after about a 15 minute moto...I can't imagine going 30 +2 in it, and tomorrow sounds like one of the heaviest days yet. The heat index at Spring Creek will be WELL into the triple digits in the valley. The humidity out here is insane...you don't even want to go outside...can hardly breathe!

Imagine 2015? 93% Humidity. Base temp 119. Index 131. And that's if you don't move and are in the shade. This sport has global warming issues to deal with. Get next to it. After Red Bud (2 days of rain and then 2 days of 93 degrees) I learned my lesson. Almost killed me. First Millville in 23 yrs that I am staying home. Had the time off. Had the money. Red Bud kicked my ass.

Try living in the Dallas area where it has been over 100 for nearly the last month.

Today it got up to 104. Dew point has been around 70. Haven't had a day below 100 in about a month Sad

when i was 16 i raced the 500 nat at LW tx...117 in the shade they said. riders were dropping like flies, luckily i was pussy enough and had enough brains to quit both motos at the 30 min mark.

i pity the guys and girls racing tomorrow.
