Pennsylvania and Ohio MX tracks - need some help!

Hi All,

Going to be heading out to Ohio from NY way for Vintage Motorcycle Days and want to do some moto on the way...

We are not familiar with the tracks in Pennsylvania/Ohio - can you folks recommend some to hit up?

It's basically New York City area to Lexington Ohio so along I-80 west to I-76 in Ohio...anywhere that isn't too far off that that route would be great.

Fast traxx, beans mx park, area 330, hi point, steel city, tomahawk mx, hedgesville wv, mx213, fly mx park, sum private tracks.briarcliff mx, malvern ohio mx. Most have websites for fees and open practice dates.

Come across 17 in NY to 15in PA you can hit Broome and Miles Mountain.

pitracer.com is ohios local forum. check the open practice threads. i recommend beans bike park, briarcliff mx, or area330. area330 has racing this weekend. part of the gopamx ohmx series races. $3000 pro purse.
beans and briarcliff and battlesburg are all open practice only.


also, crow canyon has a track and good bit of trails, if your into that kind of stuff.

might not be any jobs in ohio, but tracks everywhere.

`Wow great response so far!!

I have to see what days we are riding now, the event starts the 22nd so probably the 20/21st we'd be riding...and then again on the 25/26th for way back!

Delta motocross park is right on I-80, they used to run the nationals there back in the 70's. hard pack

I believe it is ran by MRA http://www.racemra.com/

Wild Ride MX in Philipsburg Pa. About 9 miles from I 80 here in Central Pa. They run on Wed. Google Wild Ride mx. Evansville MX sometimes runs practice on Wed too. Both tracks are OK, nothing to write home about, but they run Wed practice. Both only miles from I 80 in PA. These are your two best here in PA for Wed. practice along I 80..

I don't know when you will be passing through NW Ohio but Paul Schlegel handles the track at delta He prob. can give you permission to ride.

Apple Cabin MX has practice on Thursday's from 4 pm till dark. The track is in Lodi, OH and is only 30 minutes north of Mid-Ohio.

Briarcliff IMHO is the best track in ohio. Its about an hour east of Columbus. Fast Traxx is pretty far south in Jackson county... I dont know if he would be traveling that far... And I am not to familiar with the tracks up in Northern OH.

Athens country, not Jackson. Jackson is 2 counties away from there.

And they have their annual "Riding for Ryan" benefit practice this week in memory of Ryan Early. Check out Fasttraxxracing.com for more info. 3 tracks to ride on, ride all day for $20 all this weekend.

I mainly mentioned it because he was trying to ride on wed.
Its about an hour down rt33 if you hit it from the east side of columbus. Directly off 33.

@115- Stoked, I'll be there tomorrow early.
Haven't gotten to ride the changes this year, along with all the sand that washed onto the track from the spring.
For a good cause too.

smith road in medina is having practice on wednesday, applecabin on thursday. both are right off 71, 30 mins. from mid-ohio
