I believe there is no chance of him racing the nationals while Reed is riding so good I think he could handle getting beaten by the kids but I don't see him dealing with reed beating him (which i'm fairly certain would happen)
and I'm with peelout, the racing has been unreal and you never know who's gonna win! I go to sleep after the motos finish, which is normally around 5am depending on which coast obviously and I have no idea who'll be getting the overall and have been surprised the last couple of weeks..
the only thing that's missing when stewarts not racing is his fanboys in here and that's a good thing... now if only we could get rid of all the other riders' fanboys without losing the riders

The series is better without him and its better for him as well. If the supercross season is anything to look at, James would be kicking and screaming because he would be get beat by Chad and the two Ryan's.

I think this is some of the best racing we have seen this year with out him. There are 5 guys who could easily win on any given weekend (Reed, Dungey, Villopoto, Windham, soon to be Canard). Stewart clearly does not want to race and that's his call. If he does decide to come back, I suspect he will find that it is no longer a walk in the park like '08.
