peakfreak,

please can you email me on: info@pro-decals.com I would love to take some of those rear fenders from you, as I would be looking to make a PEAK rep in some 125, 250 and 500 flavours!

I would probably have a few rear fenders for each bike, if the price is right my friend!

Speak soon

Gareth

Does anyone know if this ever went anywhere? I sent a message to "PeakFreak" but never got a response. I would love to get a few of these fenders.

Thanks,
Nate Hubbard

Hey Guys, sorry for the late answer but i had some health issues since early summer 2010 and wasn´t able to do anything.
The Blue Fender Order was packed on Ice ... now im waiting for a Original 92 Peak SidePanels to get the matching color when i order the Fenders....or does anybody know the Color? The Prob is, the Original is Acerbis and ill order at UFO ... UFO have 4 different Blue Colors.

Started last week with this piece of sh*** looks really bad but just a good basis no dents at the fork... The Bike was the last 12 years in a Garage.. The Enginecase is already at a friends Paintshop and the Cylinder gets a new coating.

Ready to take off the old color with Glass flour

Got this last year, Its a Original 92 Graphickit by Ceet with Seatcover...

No worries, glad to hear you are ok. I do not know what the color is called. I think it is pretty close to the blue that TM used on there bikes. Could you send them a piece from your sticker kit to match?

UFO has 4 blue colors.

089 is Reflex Blue, this is the Yamaha Blue. I don't think this is what you want.
087 is Husqvarna Blue, it's similar to the Yamaha Blue but not the color you want.

I think you want 081 (standard blue) or 091 (TM Blue). If you are in Germany maybe MG Sport has a sample you can view to make your decision. Just find any UFO part number that ends with 081. It can be a universal fender, headlight, handguard....anything.

The TM blue is older TM color from 1997-2000. I don't think its the same as the new TM bikes.

UFO is your only choice because the other companies do not have the molds for the older bikes. If their work is slow maybe you can have some luck to get the quantity reduced to 50.

Thanks,
thats the way i would do...whait for the 92 Peak Panels and check some UFO samples and pick the best matching color... i think the TM Blue is very near to Peak Plastics
I work with the German UFO Distributor called SM-Sport...they have a good wire to UFO Italy but there is no Chance to reduce to 50pc ...even not when i take the Sidepanels at the same time.
Acerbis has the Mold and im sure they have the right Color but they will start at 200pc and Acerbis is to expensive...
I got a very good special offer from the UFO Distributor ..but i have to order 100pc. ...sure i could order 50pc but have to pay 100pc.

I know MG-Sport, the company is also UFO distributor for Germany but they have nothing in Stock.

I am selling some of my collection of gear and I have a set of 92 PEAK gear laying around.
I also have a set of 1991 TEAM PEAK graphics still in the original plastic bag. Not a reproduction or reprinted set but the original stickers made by AXO for the team. Interested in the graphics?

You should be able to take white plastic and dye it. Rit dye is a combination of dyes for natural and synthetic fibers. It doesn't work for shit on cotton but works great on polyester. Polyester is a plastic. I used to dye sample fabrics for my snowboard clothing company every year. I had a big pot, like 20 or 30 gallons and a burner that ran off a propane tank. You would be surprised the colors you can make with simple rit dye. I'm not sure if there is any industrial dye available in the US but if you can't get that to work they used to formulate custom colors, if there are any around. If anyone doesn't believe me take an old white piece of plastic. A $2 pack of black Rit Dye and a pot of boiling water. I had a black Yamaha in the early 90s, long before black was available. I'm positive it could be done, I don't have the big pot anymore but I'd be glad to mess around and figure out the color if someone wants to give me a Pantone #. PM me though, sometimes I go months without looking in here. I'm only watching today because I made a post.
