Same was wonder what happened to him recently, I had it in my head he was going to race the season opener, don't know why but its good to hear he's riding again.

I watched him practicing at Comp edge last year. He was the fastest of the group out at that time. Hope he gets rolling.

Hey, just getting back on the bike is a victory in itself from the sounds of that injury! Guy must have worked his ass off to even be at the place he is now!

He might not ever win another moto race, but it sounds like he's intent on proving himself a Champion either way.

What was his exact injury?

Good luck to him and hope he gets all his speed back. I wonder if he still will have a ride on PC at some point.

I was gonna post this news! I'm so glad he's back on the bike! And apparently he's changed quite a lot as far as mentality.

My gut instinct tells me he'll be back swinging and as fast as ever!

The injury ere a broken pelvis and hip dislocated I think. Though he's main issue was that some nerves got pinched and he lost some sensation in his leg and bladder... He has gonna through a lot of pain in bed at hospital and at sport facility. He lost a lot of weight and muscle which he needs to get back. In his last interview he said he was going to wait till he was really fit before getting on the bike.

Christophe is a winner if he comes back racing it's to win not just play second role!

I say watch out for him coming out for the last few outdoors...

Thats great news. I hope he can continue making forward strides in his health and riding. I'm a little confused about something. In RacerX last year they ran a series of photos that showed him getting run down by AC. Not the one at the start where he crowded him but the one where he ran over him with the throttle barried WFO. It never was clear when that came out if that is where he sustained his injury. I assumed it was but I'm not certain. Anybody know for sure when and where it happened?

The injury was in practice in Ireland. Nico Aubin fell after a big tabletop and the flagman or whatever they are called didn't flag it. Chris came full gaz and jump the big table and landed on the bike.

I think that if he came such a long way since his injury, he will be back on a podium sooner or later.

A guy that shows so much commitment to get back on the bike, wouldn´t be doing it just for "fun"...

It seems like PC is still supporting him and I sure that he will not give up... Cris Pourcel is one of those gifted guys and he is still young... he just needs some time...

Agreed. That kid has the talent of Bayle, but (at least before the injury) the motivation of Windham. When he's on, though, he can make the fastest guys on the planet look stupid.

chris was a bit faster when they both where in mx2 but i think seb has improved lots since he started riding mx1. Seb is probably the fastest guy in the mx1 right now. he is also the one who spends most crashing.
