I think VP would say it depends on how it was stored. Sealed tight, no light (original can), and off the ground I would run it.

It was stored in it's original can on the garage floor with the cap on . I mixed it but haven't touched it since . thanks guys
Easiest way to introduce moisture into Fuel is keeping it on the concrete floor in the garage. I keep all my fuel cans just off the ground on the bottom shelf of a rack.

C12 has no oxygen, it's pure hydrocarbon and very hydrophobic.... the amount of water it can absorb is minimal

Lol, C12 isn't milk. It's high octane so by definition lower reactive relative to other fuels. Along with high purity, there isn't really much in there to go bad.
I wouldn't say the same about those mega expensive and stinky fuels.... but all you are doing is burning it lol

I've heard this too, but I don't know the reasoning behind it. Why does the surface it's sitting on matter? Heat cycles?

1.5 is pushing it no matter how its stored. I would start fresh my thresh-hold is like 6mo then its trash.
Its still refined oil that will turn into varnish and spoil... Kind of like milk LOL

One piece of info that hasn't been talked about is the date code on the can. You say you've had it for 1 1/2 yrs but on the can (probably on the front label) should be a date code for when the fuel was manufactured. Code should be something like 22C15, the 22 represents the year (2022), C represent the month (C being March), and the 15 is the day in March it was made.
If you decided to take the Vitards out of the equation and call VP to ask them your question they will definitely ask you when it was manufactured.
So I ended up running the gas , the bike ran great all day . Thanks guys
