Doing swingarm bearings on a 2016 yz250x and the pivot shaft will not slide into the collars inside the bearings. I thought at first maybe I was sent the wrong parts but they sent another set and they don’t fit either. The bearings and everything installed into the swingarm with zero issues and fits as should but the pivot will not slide into the collars. After measuring the pivot shaft comes out to 17.86mm and the inside diameter of the collars are 17.13mm. Currently have no clue what do
ALL BALLS??
Pivot works
Sure you have the swingarm and not the rear axle?
I’m no Ricky Carmichael of wrenching but yes I am using the pivot shaft not the rear axle.. cmon
The Shop
Are they flush? Too much grease?
I don’t believe either is the issue, I’ve pulled them out and tried sliding them onto the pivot shaft and they are just simply too small but I don’t understand why.
Have seen them mispackaged
Possibly, but I contacted them and they sent another set out and according to the part number on the box it’s correct and this is the second set and they both are doing the same thing
Try oem?
