Long term efi bike storage

I would drain tank and fill with Avgas.

Or non Ethanol fuel with stabilizer added. 

Then run it for a while, drain oil and replace with fresh oil.

Disconnect battery and put it on a maintainer.

I'd say a bigger part of the equation is where you're storing it. If the room/garage its in stays above freezing and dry then most bikes will sit for a long time absolutely fine. If the bikes stored in an old, damp and leaky building then it will have a far rougher time and can corrode etc.

I prefer to drain the fuel from my bikes but you can also leave them brimmed to the top. Air is what degrades fuel. Running through some 2 stroke does no harm at all and puts a nice light film over all the internals. Dust cover to keep them clean. I also like to cycle the suspension, spin the wheels and crank my bikes over (2 strokes on a kicker, kill button pressed in) every month or 2 just so they aren't fixed solid in one spot for prolonged periods of time.

Sell it and buy a new once when you get out of prison.

I would run some premix thru at like 80:1 or so and then drain the tank. Depending on what bike, getting the injector out might be easy, run some lube thru it and the lines. Running on premix will help keep the head/piston from corroding, you could also use a fogging spray.
