Hi the fI llight is flashing on my 23 sxf 350. 1 long flash & 3 short flashes which the handbook says its the air temp sensor. Is that the white spike inside the airbox. Does it just need clearning or is it best to replace
That to me is a pretty common problem with KTM's in general. Being its in the air box it gets dirty and clogged, and on the older gen model it would get ripped out when pulling the airbox. You should be good in just cleaning it. Pull the right side shroud and it's easily accessible. Take it apart and clean the connection and sensor. Hopefully that fixes everything.
Cheers for that Cory ill gI've it a go. Does the sensor come apart or is it a sealed unit
No it's really easy. Clean the connection and just wipe it down. It should clear up. Plus at least it doesn't effect the way the bike preforms with a bad sensor. It doesn't seem to effect anything even if it reading as an error.
Cheers. I only noticed half way through the day & it didn't seem to effect the bike
