Installing Backyard Design graphics

Anyone have experience with Backyard Designs installation process? I’ve always used water & a squeegee, but Backyard recommends a heat gun. Thoughts?

I've done a set for a friend, I always go soapy water and squeegee but I also use a heat gun to get them to really stick. 

 

I've found even on my yz250f with enough heat on edges the side plate graphics stay down well.

 

I'm sure they say that to cover their asses for some reason. wet apply will work fine!
