I was thinking of grabbing a spare set of plastics for my '21 YZ250F. I was considering getting the Cycra Powerflow set. Does anyone have any experience with that kit on this gen of YZF? I know the sidepanels are a little different (Star is using them this year on the 250s.) I was curious if the air channels for the shroud was any different? Are the shrouds any sleeker than stock? I know on the previous 250F (14-18) the shroud/airbox was much different than stock and was a nice upgrade from OEM set up. I had it on my old bike. But I honestly haven't heard much about the Cycra plastic on the next-gen bikes. I didn't even realize that was how the sidepanels looked until this year on the Star bikes. Not sure if I am a fan because I run OEM sidepanels with the lower panel chopped and FMF heat shield (how Star was set-up until this year.) But If the shrouds are an upgrade, I would still consider going that route, as I like the Stadium front plate also. Anyways, just looking for some input. Thanks.

The difference between them is that the cycra power flow kit has a bigger airbox. Like the airbox lid is like an inch or so taller and it felt like it he side panels are a tiny bit skinnier. When I get home I can send photos to show.
Cool. I actually bought the airbox cover by itself, awhile back. I figured since I went with the screen-less, domed filter set-up that I wanted a larger volume airbox. A few guys on here suggested that over the Slater Skins, so I've been running it. So is that the only difference of how it draws air? The shrouds are the same? If you have pics, that would be great. I appreciate it.
I guess the only reason I'm curious is on the last-gen bike, getting the Cycra full kit was a pretty significant change to the bike, both in feel and function. I just haven't seen the newer bike outfitted w/ Cycra in person, and there is very little info. Granted, the stock bike doesn't need as much of an improvement as the 14-18 250F did. But just was curious of what all is different. Thanks.
It might be hard to see. But the cycra is a little bit skinnier. Bottom is cycra, Top is a stock acerbis one. I measured and the cycra is 3mm skinnier, also has better flow to airbox and radiators. And on the top of the shroud is more rounded to direct air and not get your boot caught up on. Hopefully this helps. If you want anymore info just let me know.
I feel like you can see a difference. Cool, that really helps. Thanks so much for doing that. I really appreciate it.
