I managed to get my hands on some blue DID STX hoops. I was originally just going to lace them onto my oem hubs. Bike is still brand new. Which I did the front. But I had an old Talon front hub for one of my old CR500’s that I thought Id try to fit which I was able to get done. So now what do I do? I need a rear gold hub to match but Im not sure any new hub will match. I got an email out to Dubya about a rear Talon and not sure if Id want 2 different brand hubs. I really can’t afford 2 new top shelf hubs at the moment and gold hubs for a KX seem hard to find. Not sure what to do here… lol
Is that hub pretty old? I remember a friend back in high school had a set of those on a CR250 and they were pretty old at that point, this was around 2007
Well it was for the 95 up CR’s with the 20mm axle. But I don’t know how old.. lol Its been in my shed for long time now… lol
I just spoke to Cole at Dubya. Looks like Im going to have to go with a Haan rear or Haan for both.
Tell us more about getting these rims!

KSR wheels had one set available and I happen to see them. Never seen another set for sale anywhere so snagged them.
Well.. Ive been in contact with Talon. A new Talon would run me 400 tmd.
Everyone seems to rave about the Tusk wheels/hubs so I just might ditch the gold and order 2 Tusk blue hubs for under 250. That seems tough to beat and should still look good I think!
Look, the different color hubs look cool and all. But OEM is the way to go here. Especially if it's a choice between Tusk or OEM.
Yep decided to just stick with the oem hubs!
