2024 yz125 cylinder ?

Just wondering if a older cylinder will fit on the newer yz125s. Got a brand new bike for my kid and he crashed and hit on the pipe side, kinda twisted the pipe enough to brake the exhaust flange off the cylinder. I got it fixed but I wanna eventually replace the cylinder. The part numbers are different. Thanks
