My RM 125 is running terribly. When I fire it up it runs great. I can do about two laps on the track, then it gets real boggy with no throttle response. It will rev out and pull hard about 50% of the time. The other 50% of the time it will bog and die. The carb is clean and jetted the same as it’s been the last 24yrs. The motor makes 150psi compression. I replaced the reeds and mag side crank seal. Any ideas? (Nicks in the head are from 20yrs ago)
I’m kinda leaning coil too. Builds up heat and becomes intermittent.
i had similar symptoms on my old 03 yz 125 i've had from new, would do 2 laps sweet then bog mine turned out to be needle/seat affecting float height, put new oem seat and needle and solved the issue, hope you find the issue buddy

Check for a broken muffler core, it will exhibit the same symptoms.
