2 stroke pipe dent removal

Are there any companies still doing this? I know fusion one stopped a while ago, and I remember reading the whole pacific crest pipe repair debacle. I’ve looked into the DIY plug kits to use air/heat but not sure I want to tackle it myself. It’s a pro circuit pipe off my 125 that was cut and modified for the motor work done so I can’t just get another one off the shelf.

In the worst case scenario, you can cut it in half right along the dent and then have a regular, old welding shop weld it back together. It'll look like ass, but it works. (Make sure to make specific marks where the two pieces should join back up or your fit will be all wrong.)

EDIT: (Straighten the dents out after you cut the pipe in half. Hopefully, that part was clear.)

Getting dents out is easy with a plug kit. Restoring a dented pipe to look new is a different story. I got my kit from Europe I believe, it works well

Another vote for Front Range Pipe Repair. I sent him an "exhausted" pipe for a CR250 with dents and rust. He was able to repair and strip remaining paint and give the pipe a works look.

Check out Tyler Winstead on Facebook. He does a great job and can even strip a plated pipe
