Mercedes Sprinter Moto Van

Edited Date/Time 11/7/2023 3:39pm

UPDATE SOLD

For sale is my Mercedes Sprinter Gear Hauler build. The van itself is a 2014 Mercedes 144 Sprinter 2500 2WD Diesel with the sought after OM651 4 cylinder engine and 7 speed transmission. I am the second owner of the van, I purchased it in November of 2022, and I completed the build in May of 2023. Every service record is available with most all of them being performed at the Mercedes Benz of Rocklin CA dealership. I have only owned the van for about 8,000 miles. The conversion is nearly brand new. The van drives like an absolute dream and is dead quiet, even with 2 full size motorcycles and gear in the garage.

Between working for a top level custom van builder, and owning/operating my own custom van building shop for the past few years, this van was personally built with no expense spared. Simple gear hauler design that I fit two full size motorcycles & mountain bikes into simultaneously. Fully welded structures, grade 8 hardware, insulated and soldered/heatshrink electrical connections completely fused with relays where needed, and rivnuts everywhere using stainless steel hardware throughout. The quality of the build is second to none. Any further options & accessories could be added for serious buyers.

That looks absolutely awesome.... I am looking for the 170, if you are in the industry I am local to you and if you come across a 170 I'd like to connect.

Great looking build!

What material did you use for the ceiling?  I'm building out my 170 and couldn't decide on what to do on the ceiling.

Good luck with the sale!

Beautiful build.  Exactly as I'd like with exception of the 2WD.  Need AWD in Northeast.  GLWS

Thank you! I am more than happy to work with you on shipping the van, and work out a deal on it if you are interested.

Hard for me to spend that much without seeing it in person and test driving. If the price keeps dropping, it would be tempting though.

Hi, I would have loved to buy this as this is what I've been looking for.  I have a collectible honda sport bike I restored for my dad and a tandem mtb we ride together.  This would have been perfect for taking him around to races so he could show off his honda and ride in some comfort.

If such a build is still around or anybody has links to something very similar let me know, thanks!
