What it did do is provide awareness.  I have now started brewing my own oolong and yerba mate.  Yerba Mate consumed the traditionally way is very effective but not a desirable taste. The first time i tried it traditionally i felt like my eye lids were pulled over the back of my head,, i had laser focus and could hear lizards fart on all the way on the west coat.
