I’ve never understood why companies like Fox, Alpinestars, Thor and Fly have never offered replica jerseys for fans to buy of their favorite riders like the NFL and NHL does. It just seems like a no brainer to me.

After becoming an adult, I have never understood why a grown man would wear another man’s name on his back.

Yeah I’ve had thoughts like that too. The jerseys I do have I don’t wear them out. I either hang them on my wall or I keep them hanging in my closet and rotate them after a time on my wall.

Something about sponsor logos.

There are some for sale this year.

I get the sponsor angle but they don’t have to add the sponsors on the jerseys. But is it really about the sponsors though? You buy replica sticker kits for your bike and they will come with sponsor logos on them or you can get stickers in general and they have no problem selling them or handing them out. I don’t know but I think they should let teams and riders sell replica jerseys and any merch the team or rider can. It’s like the industry is so gatekeeperish and don’t want to grow this sport as much as they can.
