can you imagine the media fallout if fans rushed the NBA court with 30 secs left to play? Heads would roll with the media demanding answers for 1. how this was allowed to happen and 2. how things were being addressed so it never happens again.
so will our moto-media folks be on the horn with AMA/Daytona folks today to get us an official comment? Can you imagine if JA21 landed on someone and they were killed? The liabilities.....
I will never forget watching the game Ron Artest went into the stands to fight a fan. Absolute mayhem. Google Malice at the Palace.
OP I noticed you were predictably absent on the threads involving ML512 and the KTM suspension deception. But here you are 1 day later bitching about "moto-media" not doing their job. I think you just like to bitch and complain, which is a terrible trait for a man. Sorry if that last word was an assumption.
I was on an international flight all day yesterday but I will absolutely give ML credit (as I try to do when appropriate) for that intel on Chase's suspension. To your point, I actually raised my eyebrows at the intel as I assume it's now going to get him in trouble w/ KTM folks, and kudos to ML for having the stones to post the info. I actually was just able to watch the motos this afternoon. Beyond that, I'm sorry you're having such a crummy day. I'm not trying to dog ML or Lewis...but "media" in our sport is one area that needs substantial improvement.
PS - I am not bitching about moto-media not doing their job - HOWEVER, this is a big opportunity to really really do their job and have uncomfortable convos with particular folks.
Three posts in a row of YOU pissin' & moaning about someone. May I suggest a chew toy...

I'm impressed that you responded with words and not an iphone screen shot of a meme. Good for you, man.

The TV announcer, trackside reporter and a well known moto journalist talked about it here:

i'm glad those guys talked about it. Will the AMA / Daytona discuss it as they are ultimately responsible for the circumstances?
All athletes should be allowed to do this once a year without consequences, as a treat.
