Mathis Valin

1st year in EMX250, 2 straight overall wins and gapping Valk/Lata in the championship standings.

I did not expected him to be that great so early. Would be cool to see him stepping up in MX2 in 2025.

Are we going to pretend Lata just didn’t get screwed by an outrageous penalty? He smoked Valin and that flag was in between the double. He’s good. But Lata and Towers are going to start beating him consistently

Even without the penalty Valin would be leading the championship by 10-15 points over Lata.

Since we've only had hard tracks it will be interesting to see how Valin and Lata do in Latvia this weekend and the next round in Lommel.

Outrageous penalty? The flag was waving before the jump. He jumped it. The emx rules state 10 position penalty. No one had Valin coming in and doing this well from the start. I expected Valk to win the championship this year (still holding on to that!), but Latas dominance at the first couple races was impressive and I didn’t even realize Valin was lurking. He’s been impressive the last few weekends.

Valk will be tough to beat on the sandy tracks. But Valin could turn some heads too!
