That’s crazy! Wonder how deep it was ripped prior to the lip. I’m guessing it’s going to be too rutted and rough on the lip from everyone checking up for the national. I didn’t look at the YouTube video just small instagram clips.
The past 2 years or 3 years the track was more rutted and difficult for amateur day, than it was for the pros. They watered it too much for us mere mortals. Slowie is definitely a cool dude if you get the chance to meet him.
That looks huge on video so that means its really big. I video myself doing something that I think its big and when I rewatch it I am embarrassed to even show anyone. Kid has balls of steel.
Vid does it NO justice. Having ridden that section, i can tell you that is absolutely insane. Makes loraccos leap seem like a pit bike jump. When i rode it tho it was wet and deep like mentioned above and only two big deep ass ruts in the corner and up the face. Was sketchy just making it down smoothly because its so steep and it was rutty as hell all the way to the bottom.

Guessing here, but from the top lip of the table down to that single is, again loosely guessing, 50' or more below it in height. The distance isnt crazy crazy, but lauching upward then having to freefall down the hill to the landing is wild. I had a very miniature version (in comparison) at my track at my parents house. Big face off the top of a hill down to a 8' tall landing. Came up short and cracked vertebrae without even falling over. Maybe thats why im spooked on free falls lol.. very interested to see if any of the big dogs huck that thing.
I always go for that jump on All Out lol I normally stand around that area for the national and never expected to see anyone actually go for it. Dude has balls for sure
