Good afternoon! This guy will be coming up to Detroit from Ga to finally see family and of course watch some Supercross! Are we able to watch practice at 0930 or not? I see on the website for the event that it says gates open at noon but wanted to see if anybody had some insight from last year or inside information. I called Ford Field and could not give a straight answer.....Appreciate yalls time! Kris

Yeah great question, going to Pittsburgh sx and the ticket says doors open at 6:30. Shit i want to be there at like 10 am to get ready to watch qualifying, Or do you have to buy fan passes to get into the stadium early for practice? and what's up with buying fan passes i thought if you took an empty monster can you got into the pits for free?
My comment was obviously for Detroit (done it at indy tooold Pontiac, and Daytona), but im pretty sure you can get in all of them for practice. They typically only have one side of the stadium seats open and you dont have to sit where your ticket is. Id assume its this way at all the rounds.

Yes you can at Detroit. About half the stadium will be open until the night program. Food/ drink vendors are normally serving by 9am ish.

Often they will limit areas you can view from and you aren't able to go to your actual assigned seats until later in the program but they have sections to sit in or standing room areas for watching practice and qualifying.
