Slow year of bike building - lot of work and little time for play apart from trying to ride once a week. But these are coming along. The 95 is nearly done and the 88 is missing a few small parts. Haven’t yet decided if either is going to be ridden.

The 95 will always be the most distinctive one from the years 92-96. Honda sold a crazy amount of those 95s. The most common one I have come across. Heck I own three of them.

Your 95 would be in the top 10% of super clean ones I have seen. Everything looks right so it appears as a low hour original bike.

Those 88 CR’s were so uninspiring for me. There is a member here who has one in the 250 series with black rims and some other accents done if I remember correctly. It looks spectacular for an 88. Your 88 looks great and equally as clean as the 95.

That lack of inspiration for me was exactly why I took an 88 and made it look like an 87.

Good to see you back posting here.

Hey, nice and clean CR's. Woohoo

From the mid 80s to the mid 90s Honda made some great machines.

It has always given me the feeling that those 87/89 seats made a very pronounced curve in the central area.

Cheers.

I rebuilt an 89 several years ago and sitting on those bike feels like sitting on a horse, almost like you are sitting in the bike rather than on it
