yesterday after adjusting the valves and rewiring the fuel pump on my kx450f it was finally time to try and start it! I kick with no luck and eventually try a bumpstart, it works! I was so excited to ride, i ran on 87 gas. After i was able to kick my bike over just fine. But it wouldn't run without the choke on, it would continue to run if turned off while riding. After messing with my idle and my wiseco fuel controller i called it a night and went inside. Go out today excited to ride again, without it starting. Trying bump starts and kicking, after an hour giving up. Please any help!!

Did you solder wires or crimp?
Why rewire?

Sounds like the valves were done incorrectly or theyre not sealing. First things i would do is get 93 gas and ditch the wiseco controller.

Hotcams come with a sheet that specifies their lash. Its different than what kawi specifies. This information is on hotcams website if you lost the paper.

Over the years I have found that the valve lash spec's from HotCams is too tight and causes starting problems. Return to OEM valve lash spec's. YOu did not say if the bike is EFI or carb unit. If carb unit then clean the carb and jets as well. If EFI, clean the injector.
