A buddy has been using VP Stay Frosty Race-Ready coolant in his razor for racing and then starting using in his kid's 250 SX-F with a mod motor. Compared to Motorx 3.0 it seems to keep the bike at least 10 degrees cooler. It's not glycol based like Motorex and other moto based coolants. Any thoughts or potential issues with switching? My son and his friends are running Vegas to Reno in a couple weeks on my stock motor FX 350 and I was contemplating using instead of the Motorex 3.0. Thanks in advance!

Any no freeze protection coolant will work better than with freeze protection so it should be good like water wetter.

Over the years I have tried them all, and I keep coming back to distilled water and water wetter mix. Just seems to do the job best if you are in a part of the country that doesn't freeze. Now if you are at risk of freezing temps, then that is a different story.
