Just got a new rear shock spring from factory connection for my 2014 yz250f and it's about 3/4 inch shorter than the oem spring and it looks slimmer as well. Part number is ALS-0053 it's a 5.3 kg spring. Was wondering if it is the correct spring for my bike or if I got the wrong one?

Correct
So it's the right spring? Any reason why it's so much shorter?

There are a few different lengths of springs for the 50mm KYB shock depending on which bike it comes on. FC just makes one length that will fit on all. The length doesn't matter, all that does is spring rate + preload = race sag.
