2009 150sx I bought In a box of parts. The swing arm has a lot of play in it and in examining the cases I feel like the right side is missing some sort of insert. My question, is there a spacer/insert/race that goes on/in the cases where the pivot bolt goes through. Or are the cases so worn down that this indent had been formed from the swingarm moving up and down?

My father brought home a box of parts that wound up being a 1980 Honda cr80. 36 years later……I still think about my father putting it together. Good luck with the build!

Your engine cases are extremely worn. There are no bushings in the cases from the factory

The cases should look like this:

This is well known issue with 85/125/150 KTM's:

I think only way to repair your engine case is to get steel bushings for swingarm bolt hole and machine your engine cases to adapt them. Steel bushings are available trough KTM https://www.ktmworld.com/oemparts/p/ktm/75030010000/case-bush
