Hi
Just pickles up a 2019 fc250. The only catch is the stiff 45 Nm shock spring. Because I weigh 143 lbs I can’t get my sag to more than 95 mm. And I haven’t got an oppertunity to change it to this weekend.

Ant Ideas of how I can lower my sag to 105 mm. I’m thinking of lowering my forks in the triple clamps. But will my handling be worse (thinking mostly in corners) if I do that or keeping the forks the way they are (third line) right now with 95 mm sag?

The best thing you can do is to get your bike properly sprung for your weight. I see it not only as a performance improvement but also makes the bike safer to ride. SLAVENS racing has a good spring/weight chart on his website. Diverse Springs makes light weight chrome silicone springs that rival Ti springs and are the same price $110. Get the sag as close as you can to 105mm with some preload. Dropping the forks in the clamps will help but is just a bandaid that will adversely affect handling.

He needs a 39, 42 won't do it. Might get him to 100 sag. He needs 105.

I am 197 w/o gear on a 2021 SX.
I use a 4.5, think I should go up?
I am about 36/107 static/rider but ride a lot of sand or soft conditions.
