I had some other issues with a 17 Honda and contacted Honda from the get go with the problems, starting with the very first oil change with very large flakes of metal more than the normal “ break in “ material they claimed. and was told from there rep keep running it that it looked normal to them. and I was quite disappointed with there customer service they did cover some of the damage to the motor but not near what needed replaced in my opinion to make the bike considered safe to ride! This happened around March 2017 and took up until October to get there customer service to contact after many calls. I hope they will cover the repair cost of ur motor and finally start to see they do have problems with the new generation motor and start doing people right!
