Need some help finding a stock rubber reed boot for a 98' CR250R. Got a vForce 3 reed cage but don't have the stock rubber boot that hooks to the carb. The bike currently has boyesen reed block but I want to use the vforce reeds since I cant return them. Was looking on ebay and listing are for around $100 for the oem boot... will any other year cr250r boot fit and work?

Partszilla has a cross reference ability if you pull up your part & click on it, it will show you what other years & models that part was used on. In your case it says 95-98 intake boot the same, this also means 92-94 would also work, they changed the stuffers on some of those years to get more low end, but you would be removing the stuffer and cutting the tangs off to use the vforce anyway. The intake is NLA from Honda, so you will be buying a used intake boot. If you have a Boyesen Rad valve already, much easier to just use the Rad valve and you can still get all the parts needed for that Rad Valve from Boyesen.

Look into the husky wr250/300 boot.
I know it interchanges with the 2000-2001 Hondas, maybe more years.
The 2009-14 is longer than the 2008 and earlier.
There was some aftermarket availability
